Where to buy reclaimed wood flooring

The reclaimed wood industry is quite robust as customers integrate the material into their residential and commercial projects.  Reclaimed wood is appealing for many reasons including the value of re-purposing wood rather than cutting down trees.

Since most of the reclaimed wood is from old-growth forests, it’s aesthetically more appealing than the new-growth wood harvested today. The wood has a certain allure too – it has a history and, with it, a story. Talking of which, see how creative you can be with recycled hardwood flooring.

If you’re looking to buy reclaimed wood, here is the list of the top reclaimed wood dealers in the United States. Some of them have local retail stores, but all sell online too. Links are provided for you to check out what the companies offer in terms of products and services.

Most of the sites have excellent photo galleries of the wood products and projects completed. A few have blogs worth a look where you’ll find posts of interest and/or practical help. Obviously all of these companies sell reclaimed wood flooring, but most also sell reclaimed barn wood and reclaimed lumber for other uses like construction or wall cladding.
